Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

  • DOES VERSAILLES ATELIER HAVE IN-HOUSE ALTERATIONS?

At this time, we do not have any seamstresses located inside the shop. We believe in paying the seamstress for their hard work and not our store. At the time of gown purchase, we offer each bride a seamstress recommendation. We work closely with each of our seamstresses who are skilled and highly trained at what they do.

  • WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

All gowns from our store are a final sale because once you purchase a gown from our store we send your measurements to the designer. Then the designer will then apply your measurements to the fabric cuts and will make your gown from scratch.

  • DOES VERSAILLES ATELIER OFFER A MILITARY DISCOUNT?

We are a veteran owned business and we want to thank those who have served by offering a discount. Be sure to ask our staff about the types of discounts we offer on our gowns for service members. We thank you for your service.

  • DOES VERSAILLES ATELIER OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?

We understand that we are asking for a good amount of money from you and don’t want you to feel strapped for cash. We offer a few different types of payment plans depending on the dress and designer. Be sure to ask your consultant about a payment plan!

  • WHAT IS THE PRICE RANGE OF VERSAILLES ATELIER'S DRESSES?

We carry only the most luxurious fabrics from designers who truly care about you, the bride. Our special order gowns start at $1,500 and can go up to $5,000. Most of our gowns will fall between $1,500 and $3,500.

  • WHAT DOES MADE-TO-ORDER MEAN WHEN ORDERING MY GOWN?

All the dresses in our shop that you will be trying on are samples. Once you have selected a dress, we take your measurements and send them to the designer for a made-to-order dress. We then have the dress shipped to our shop, which can take 3-6 months. We recommend shopping 9-12 months before your wedding for a stress-free timeline.

  • WHAT SIZES DOES VERSAILLES ATELIER CARRY?

Our South Jordan salon offers brides a range of gown samples between 6 and 24. We typically carry 2 samples of each designer style. We carry different variations, colors, and sizes so every bride can visualize what they will look like on their wedding day.

  • DOES VERSAILLES ATELIER HAVE LDS MODEST GOWNS?

We have a handful of modest gowns waiting to find their bride but almost all of our ‘modest gowns’ are made to order. Every bride is different and so is their definition of modest; our skilled staff will pull the best gowns that can be transformed into the gown of your dreams.

I loved going to Versailles Atelier. I’ve tried on many dresses and had something of a vision in my head. Natasha and Cass took my ideas and ran with them. They found me a dress I love within my budget!

These guys are amazing! So nice and very helpful. Although I didn’t get a dress here Cassidy and Natasha listened, were kind, very knowledgeable and all around good people. They have a fantastic selection of dresses, a wonderful store, and overall fantastic atmosphere!!! Wish I could give them a 10/10! Amazing place and people to go wedding shopping!!!
